This year the population of the NNG Campus will reach 900
NNG’s staff has increased by 20–25 percent (more than 200 new hires) on a yearly basis since 2013, and for this year, they need 90 people more to achieve this target. Presumably, the developer of the iGO Navigation will have a staff of 900 by the end of the year. Innovation will be in the focus of NNG’s strategy in the upcoming years, and the company intends to maintain the steady growth rate in its revenues and headcount witnessed in previous years. To meet all global automotive orders, NNG must fill its vacant positions with the right people.
The dramatic increase in headcount is caused by the company’s dynamic growth in the past few years: this year NNG has opened an office in Japan and in the USA, as well as its Development Centre in Szeged, Hungary, where the IT experts are already working on the next major project. In addition, NNG acquired an American firm, which brought further expansion in its portfolio. Nevertheless, the developer of the iGO Navigation is committed to retain the development projects in Hungary and for this reason, the company is continuously seeking the most talented professionals whom they are always short of.
One of the major challenges at NNG is recruitment. We are growing at an incredible speed. Innovation plays a key role in our operation, therefore we need programmers with an inventive mindset. To find these talents, we need to be more creative in recruitment system, and we need to find new ways beside the traditional approaches. Therefore we started our national programming competition: C++ Grand Prix, and we are participating in many local professional meetups this year as well. We do our best to find committed and talented professionals with whom we can set a standard in the automotive industry.said Andrea Magyari, HR director at NNG.
Currently, the company employs nearly 850 people in its 12 offices located in four continents.
